Built on a lightly modified version of Takuma Okada's excellent Alone Among the Stars, The City Stretches Out is a solo game about imagining infinite and fantastic cities from the perspective of a person driving whatever that city's equivalent of a subway train is.
You will need a deck of cards and pen/paper or equivalent.

This is a wonderful experience.
This was a very reflective experience for me, as the dichotomy mechanic prompts thinking about what each component of a dichotomy means and how it relates to other components.
And this game helped me get towards more closure on a particular life event that changed everything for me forever.
